This service focuses on the lighting aspects of client's premises. A complete light count is carried out and the type, wattage and base fitting of each luminaire is recorded. Copies of client's electricity accounts are examined in order to determine the exact power costs of the lighting portion of the accounts.
In many cases we are able to offer advice on the incorrect or better use of existing lighting products and to offer advice and make recommendations to ensure compliance with current regulations.
Once the initial survey has been completed, the information is processed to enable us to present a comprehensive report to our clients detailing comparisons between conventional and existing lighting products and the cost implications of replacing them with LED products. The report covers the cost benefits that accrue over the entire lifespan of the LED products.
In every case, thanks to the extended lifespan of LED lighting products, the lack of required maintenance costs and the low level of power usage, result in savings of up to 80% often being achieved.
Further benefits from installing LED lighting products result in the reduction of Carbon emissions. Substantial reductions of between 70% and 80% are achieved. LED lighting products emit virtually no heat, which means that further savings in air conditioning costs of approximately 30% can be achieved. The lighting qualities of LED's are superior to fluorescent, CFL's and Halogens creating a healthier and more productive working environment.
LED's do not emit UV or Infra Red light. Insects are not attracted to LED light.
Whilst on site energy audits incur a consultancy fee, these fees, less any travel and accommodation expenses are credited to the client once a firm written order is placed.
